As we gear up for the approaching flu season, we're delighted to share some exciting news!
Thanks to the dedicated efforts of Nurse Ms. Oates, we secured a generous grant that has brought medical-grade air purifiers valued at nearly $400,000 to our school building. These remarkable air purifiers, known as Medify Air Purifiers, are specifically designed for classroom and school use. They not only offer top-notch performance but also consider economic and environmental factors.
All of our classrooms, including those in modular buildings, will soon be equipped with these air purifiers. Some classrooms already have them, and we've placed two large units in the gym, one in the front office, and another in the visitor's lobby. In the coming weeks, we anticipate the installation of an additional 20 office-sized units.
Our new high school building will also benefit from these air purifiers, thanks to the additional large-sized units we've received. To ensure ongoing maintenance, we've secured a three-year supply of high-grade HEPA replacement filters.
